The TS 8-inch RC has M90x1mm connections at the focuser end of the scope. Zero shift locking knob to precisely stop any movement without affecting optical axis adjustmentįitting a 2-inch BDS-RT Baader Diamond Steeltrack Focuser to a Teleskop-Service GSO 8-inch Ritchey-Chretien.Shortest possible mechanical design achieves optimum balance between focuser height (backfocus) and rigidity requirements.Detachable drive block assembly is reversible for right hand or left hand fine-focus operation and for attaching the Diamond Steeldrive motor block.1:10 Stainless Steel fine-focus mechanism, ready for attachment of the optional Diamond Steeldrive temperature-compensating motor drive system.Bearing system utilizes unbreakable Instrument Grade Roller-Bearings instead of simpler Ball Bearings - handles higher loads with greater rigidity and accuracy.Diamond Steeltrack 2" focusers lift a payload of 6kg (13 lbs) straight up, without slipping, without excessive bearing preload (bearing preload can be increased further if necessary). In comparison to conventional crayford or rack & pinion drives, this micro-geared movement has zero backlash, zero cogging, and zero flexure.True diamonds form a micro-geared high precision drive system never accomplished before. The BDS-RT allows mounting of a finder base and holder (example: MQR-III #2457020) General Specificationsįor all Baader Diamond Steeltrack ® (BDS) focusers: Drive system RT-Adapter M93 x 1 Diamond Steeltrack® # 2957281 RT-Adapter M90x1.5 Diamond Steeltrack® (Skywatcher) # 2957284 RT-Adapter 4.2" Explore Scientific Diamond Steeltrack® # 2957285 RT-Adapter M90x1 Diamond Steeltrack® (Skywatcher) # 2957283 RT-Adapter Ø 97mm Diamond Steeltrack® (Synta / Celestron) # 2957282
TS PHOTOLINE FOCUSER TILT MANUAL
In addition to the adaptations mentioned in the manual at, we do have the following adapters: If you have these data, you can also see if one of the available adapters fits, otherwise, a custom-made adapter ring would have to be made. We would need precise measurements of the thread sizes / pitch as well as measurements or specs from your telescope to evaluate the backfocus. However we cant answer this question for certain, since we don't sell this telescope and thus don't know the thread sizes, backfocus and so on. We would love to see our Diamond Steeltrack on as many telescopes as possible.
